Policies (Ghost Kitchen)

  1. Ordering will be done through Door Dash or Tock. When ordered and picked up for the delivery, Food Coma Kitchen is NOT responsible for the order once it leaves the premises. If a delivery is stolen, eaten, or dropped, it must be taken up to Door Dash. Tock is best for personal pickup, as it ensures safekeeping.

  2. Payments

    • All Card Payments (Tock or Door Dash) - Fee attached

  3. During Sales & Discounts (ONLY APPLIES TO TOCK), the lowest priced item(s) will take the percentage off. You cannot decide which item takes the percentage off. Also, promo codes cannot be combined with special day sales or with other promo codes.

  4. I must be informed of any allergies/dietary restrictions you have or the household you are ordering for have. If allergens or dietary restrictions are not provided, Food Coma LLC is not liable for sickness caused by consumption.

  5. Dissatisfied or was a mistake made? Please reach out as soon as possible and I will work out a solution that works best for the situation (i.e. refund, remake for another delivery date, voucher/promo code, etc.)

Policies (Catering/Private Events)

  1. Catering Orders must be placed at least two weeks in advance. Orders made in short notice, depending on size and if accepted, will have a short notice fee ($50 - $100).

  2. 1.5 Hour Delivery Max from Bridgewater, NJ. Earliest delivery is 1:00 PM.

  3. If ordering more than 100 empanadas, for quality assurance, Chef will treat your event as a private event and fry them fresh at the event, charging you per person, rather than per tray.

  4. Payments

  5. A one-on-one with me through email, Instagram DM, or phone will be made when a catering order is submitted.

  6. Any food allergies/dietary restrictions from the party must be made clear to me through the one-on-one so to take extra care with your order. If allergens or dietary restrictions are not provided, Food Coma LLC is not liable for sickness caused by consumption.

  7. A $20 Delivery and Service Fee will be added to final price. (DROP-OFF CATERING ONLY)

  8. If you require steam trays. stands, and sternos, you can either pay PRIVATE EVENT PRICING for Chef Evan to stay, set up, serve, and clean up so that Evan can keep the trays or you can pay a designated fee for the amount needed.

  9. If your catering ordering is $350+ and you wish to pay on the day of the event, a non-refundable 30% deposit is required to account for food purchasing, possible cancellation, or change-of-dates. This may be done through Zelle.

  10. CANCELLATION: Please try and cancel the order 72 hours before the designated day. IF YOU PAID AHEAD: A refund will be awarded to you, withholding a 15% fee to account for product loss. If you cancel the order after the 72 hour requirement, a 45% fee will be taken from the refund for product loss and time. If canceled on the day of the event, a 75% fee will be taken from the refund for similar reasoning.

  11. Dissatisfied or was a mistake made? Please reach out as soon as possible and I will work out a solution that works best for the situation (i.e. a voucher for any future orders, partial refund for the order, etc.)

  • What is a Ghost Kitchen?

    • Food Coma Ghost Kitchen operates at a physical location for pick-up or delivery options only inside another operation’s facility (Ambee Coffee Co. - Raritan, NJ).

  • Does anyone else work with/under/for you?

    • This started all as “one-man show” led by Chef Evan Johnson. All is still taken care of by just Chef Evan. Check out the Chef Page to learn more about him and the creation of Food Coma Kitchen. Because of this, please provide some leeway, as Chef Evan takes care of cooking, packaging, and (catering) delivery.

  • When are you open?

    • I am open Friday & Saturday Nights

      • Fridays - Saturdays: 5pm - 9:30pm

  • Can you deliver to ___? Where do you deliver?

    • Food Coma Kitchen Catering is based in Bridgewater, NJ. If you live or work 1.5 hours or less from Bridgewater, you’re perfect! Unsure about if I can deliver to you? Reach out to me and I can confirm for you! No NY delivery.

    • Food Coma Ghost Kitchen is based in Raritan, NJ. Door Dash works dependent on delivery vicinity. Feel free to use Tock to pickup from any distance you may be!

  • Do you do private events?

    • Yes I do! Through this service, I come to your event an hour or more before the event, set up, cook fresh empanadas, help serve, and clean up! For a more in depth breakdown, check out the PRIVATE EVENTS page.

  • Does your menu change?

    • With a desire to keep things fresh, menus will change according to seasonality in conjunction with Chef Evan’s thought process.

  • Do you make any gluten free, dairy free, and/or vegetarian dishes?

    • Yes I Do! I understand how difficult it is to get access to such foods and for it to be of quality. Because of this, I try my best to include at least one of each on all my menus. If you have a special dietary restriction or allergy, don’t be afraid to ask what’s available for you! There is most likely an option for you or an adjustment in the recipe that can be made! Everyone deserves to have a comforting meal.

  • Do you plan on expanding into other ventures with Food Coma Kitchen in the future?

    • You’ll just have to wait and see ;).
